Crews will be paving Tranquille Road between Crestline Street and Aviation Way on Monday, October 30 and Tuesday, October 31 (weather permitting). Paving will take place each day from approximately 8:00 am to 6:00 pm* (*may extend longer if required).

On both October 30 and October 31, residents and businesses within the paving limits will have limited access to their properties, particularly when the paving machine is travelling past the driveway. Pedestrian access in and out of properties will be maintained.

On Monday, October 30 and Tuesday, October 31, Crestline Street at Tranquille Road will be closed to all traffic from approximately 6:00 am to end of day to accommodate the paving. Motorists accessing Crestline Street will be required to detour via Schreiner Street. Transit will also detour via Schreiner Street (visit BCTransit.com/Kamloops and check advisories for the most up to date information). Crestline Street will reopen to all traffic by the end of each day.

Traffic on Tranquille Road through the work zone continues to be single lane alternating during the day, with traffic control signage and personnel in place. Motorists should expect delays. Traffic is restored to one lane in each direction at night. The construction zone is 30 km/hr, effective 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
