Construction of the new reservoir and booster station in Greenstone Park is nearing completion. This fall, crews will be commissioning the new water infrastructure and tying in the existing reservoir with the new facilities.

Starting in early September, crews will begin regrading the site to return the park’s slopes to grades suitable for recreation. There will also be some grading enhancements towards Greenstone Drive that will better enable the park to handle overland flooding during significant rain events.

Due to a range of factors, project completion, including restoration (turf/reseeding, rebuilding of the irrigation system) has now moved to Spring 2024. This change in schedule was made in the best interest of the park from a long-term perspective. Greenstone Park will remain closed to the public until the project has been completed in early 2024.
