Both the new reservoir and the new booster station within Greenstone Park are now complete. Crews are currently commissioning the new booster station. Once complete, the existing booster station will be decommissioned and the new booster station will be tied-in to the two existing reservoirs.

Park restoration will commence in the spring with the completion of site regrading and new perimeter fence installation. A new underground irrigation system will also be installed throughout the park.

With regards to landscape restoration, the final layout and species selection has yet to be finalized but will include the installation of sod and seed throughout the majority of the park, as well as some low maintenance native species of plants especially in steeply sloped areas.

The Pemberton Water System Upgrades project is anticipated to be completed by early June 2024. A reminder to residents that Greenstone Park remains closed to the public until project completion.
