Funding Agreements (Supplemental 24.2)

When City Council’s plans and objectives require programming or services that are outside the scope of what the City does, the City engages partner organizations and not-for-profit agencies through funding agreements to provide those programs and services to the community. For many years, the budget for funding agreements has been fully subscribed with many organizations expressing a need for increased funding to maintain programs and services. Administration recommends a gradual investment into the funding agreement program so that by 2028 its annual budget will have grown by $630,000.

COST: $136,000 in 2024 with additional 0.1% tax increases in 2025–2027

This proposal would be funded through taxation and would increase current 2024 taxation projections by 0.1%. This is an increase of $2.64 on an average home.
