City of Kamloops Hosting Open Houses to Launch North Shore Neighbourhood Plan Review

2 September 2020

September 2, 2020 - The City of Kamloops is hosting a pair of public open houses in mid-September to seek the public’s input on the North Shore Neighborhood Plan review and update. The community is invited to share its vision for the North Shore and provide feedback on what key issues and opportunities the revised plan should address.

In accordance with provincial COVID-19 regulations, attendance will be limited to 50 people. Participants are asked to RSVP to one of the following open houses:

Dates: Wednesday, September 16, or Thursday, September 17
When: 7:00–9:00 pm
Where: Holiday Inn & Suites, Ballroom, 675 Tranquille Road
Details: Event will include a short presentation, storyboards, community mapping, and audience Q&A

The City is committed to the health and safety of residents and staff and will be following the guidelines provided by the Provincial Health Officer, including limited event capacity (< 50 people), contact tracing, and safe physical distancing (2 m apart). Masks will also be provided and are required to be worn in accordance with the Holiday Inn's corporate COVID-19 policy.

For those who cannot attend one of the open houses, feedback can be shared via the online survey here and the digital map on this page. Survey participants can enter to win one of three gift baskets—including a $50 prepaid Visa gift card and items from North Shore merchants— that were generously donated by the North Shore Business Improvement Association.
