Purpose: The Arts and Culture Engagement Group supports the Committee by coordinating its activities, offering information and professional advice, and gathering public input on matters within the committee’s mandate. The group helps formulate arts‑related policies, advance the Cultural Strategic Plan, and assess applications for the BC Festival of the Arts Legacy Grants and the Community Art Grant. It also participates in evaluating public art recognition, mural applications, and promotes public awareness and community involvement in arts and culture initiatives.
