Purpose: The Working Group supports the Select Committee by liaising with community groups and residents to bring a range of perspectives into its discussions, gathering and reporting public input on matters within the Committee’s mandate, and providing information and advice to the Build Kamloops Council Select Committee. It contributes user and community insights, identifies high‑level service and operational requirements for each facility, and helps inform communication strategies to keep the public updated on the Build Kamloops initiative. The Working Group also promotes public awareness and engagement in all aspects of the program, including financial strategies, to ensure the Committee’s work is grounded in community needs and well‑supported by residents.
