Community Engagement & Trust Check‑In

The City of Kamloops is developing communications and community engagement guiding documents. These documents will guide how the City shares information, seeks input, and explains decisions especially for projects, policies, and issues that matter most to residents.

This short survey focuses specifically on engagement, decision-making, and trust. It builds on feedback already collected through previous City surveys and engagement activities. Rather than asking about communication tools again, this survey is designed to better understand expectations: when people want to be involved, what they expect engagement to influence, and what helps build trust.

Your input will be used to:

  • shape the principles and commitments for community engagement
  • clarify how and when engagement is used to inform City decisions
  • improve how the City reports back on what was heard and how input was considered
  • ensure City communications supports meaningful, timely, and transparent engagement

Survey results will be summarized and reflected in the final strategies. Individual responses will not be identified, and participation does not guarantee a specific outcome, but it will help set clearer expectations about how engagement works at the City of Kamloops.
