Ossuaries are large vessels, often buried, into which cremated remains of multiple individuals are placed. The remains are comingled.

    Family Columbaria

Family columbarium units are individual monuments with two or more niches that hold the cremated remains for one family.

    Scattering Garden

A scattering garden is a planted area where cremated remains are placed, usually below the surface of the soil. Group memorials are often used to honour those interred in the garden.

    Green Burial

Green or natural burial involves returning a body as naturally as possible to the earth. The body is not embalmed or cremated. Vegetation is planted and allowed to naturalize, with the names of the interred typically inscribed on a marker or plaque.

A mausoleum is an external free-standing building constructed as a monument enclosing the interment space.

A columbarium is a wall, room, or building with niches that store cremation urns.
